The food here was amazing! We started off with a special app of curry goat rolls and they were absolutely fantastic! They should add them to their full menu. They were similar to croquettes but packed with flavour and tender meat and also served with a little side salad. For dinner we ordered the lamb curry and the butter chicken and they were very flavourful and authentic. They were both meals we wanted to keep eating, but couldn't fit another bite in. This was truly an experience and our server was very kind and looked after us. It was a meal I will not forget! I highly recommend this place and would come back anytime we are in the area!
Nero, Shannon, and the culinary team never fail to impress with their unique and tantalizing specials and their incredible grill selection, from the Bacon Overload burger, to their delectable Baked Garlic Shrimp, and even with their selection of draught ales for all occasions. Feels like home. Tastes like heaven.
Decided to try something new and very glad we did. Came in and was welcomed by who I think was the owner right away with a smile. Sat down, got our drinks fast, a good selection of beers that pair well with the pub fair offered on the menu. We had another server that graciously asked if we needed anything else, the customer service was perfect. Menu is very diverse yet not over whelming. My wife got the butter chicken, and I ordered a club sandwich, we shared both and they were excellent. The butter chicken was savoury and not sure if it was home made but I could get a good taste of the cumin, turmeric, garlic and ginger. I am very picky about club sandwiches and it was spot on. Smokey bacon, good size chicken, and I love they add onions which most people don't thing to do. I wish I got a picture to share, but overall great meal, well needed after a long day of work. It is now our go to spot in Uxbridge.
The burger special is AWESOME! The food is great, beer choices are excellent, as they have local brewer Second Wedge beer on tap and the family that owns it is wonderful. Really a great place for food, beer and if you're into sports, a solid bar for the games.
The McGrady burger was amazing! Homemade and accompanied by crisp, hot fries. Perfect lunch with friendly service and very reasonable prices.
Best pub in Durham! Cold beer, fantastic wings, and some of the best bar staff you will find this side of Munich, Germany....
Great small town spot. Excellent service and food quality. Owner is a great guy and was very accommodating as we sat on the Patio. Worth the drive from the city. Look forward to going back.
This is a great local pub. The food is always great and the service friendly. Wingsday (Wednesday) are open mike days and it's always nice to see local talent of various caliber just having a good time, which is endearing and adds to the community feel of it all. My wife and I are new to the community and we're already regulars.
